On Sunday 15th May 2011, Team Maher Ross again 'walked the wight' - or or at least the 8 mile flat walk. Having completed the entire 26 miles last year, it was a much more relaxing walk - with a real party atmosphere.

This year, we were accompanied by plenty of friends, including lots of children and 'Troy' the dog. The weather stayed fine for the event and the benefits of the shorter walk were obvious - this year, both Graham and Chris were able to walk perfectly well the next day!

By successfully completing the event, Maher Ross raised a significant amount of money towards the Macmillan Hospice in Newport, which provides care for seriously, and terminally ill patients. We look forward to supporting them again in the future.
