Tuesday 15th February 2011 Following on from their success in residential lettings, Maher Ross are proud to announce that they have now expanded their operations into Holiday Lettings. The new side of the company is being headed up by Terry Hallett.
Terry was born on the Island and brought up in Bembridge where he holds many childhood memories. Soon after leaving school he became involved in the property market and can now boast twenty years of experience within the industry. In addition to holiday and residential lettings, Terry also has a wealth of experience in the buying and selling process of residential property. He is therefore in a very good position to offer sound advice to prospective landlords, who are considering an investment purchase, on what types of property would offer the best returns and the best locations to buy.
Terry comments, “I feel this is an ideal time to start a holiday lettings business. Due to the current economic state of the country combined with airport strikes, potential logistical nightmares and other problems associated with travelling abroad, people are returning to the more traditional type of holiday. The Island’s main industry is tourism and it is known to be the ‘holiday Isle’. I therefore predict an upturn in Island holidays and can see a considerable opportunity for a company like ours who offer a high quality professional service to both landlords and holidaymakers alike”.

This has resulted in many instructions being taken in readiness for this year with many more in the pipeline. In addition, these locations are all situated right on the coast being quite literally a stones throw away from sandy beaches.
