The Fort Walk!
 The long walk out...  We made it without losing any kids!  A pleasant walk back.
Thursday 12th August 2010 The Maher Ross team (with plenty of friends) were delighted to take part in the 2010 'Fort Walk' across the sands to Bembridge Fort. The walk has now become an annual 'pilgrimage' for thousands of people and can only be held during the very lowest spring tides of the year.
There was plenty of fun to be had by all - especially because the weather held up until the very last minute.
