British Heart Foundation Cycle the Wight 2014!

Team Maher Ross successfully completed "Cycle the Wight 2014" in aid of The British Heart Foundation.  The team took on the challenge of the longer 70 mile route - starting at Smallbrook, Ryde at about 0900 hrs and returning 5 and a half hours later after having completed a fairly 'testing' Round the Island Route.

As always, honours go to Nick, for completing the course without breaking into a sweat, Chris for keeping his sense of humour, Graham for keeping going despite being old and unfit, and lofty for being the tallest cyclist at the event.  We rounded up the day with a terrific meal at the Appley Manor Hotel together with our family and supporters.

We do aim to support the British Heart Foundation whenever possible as BHF-funded research has revolutionised the way heart conditions are diagnosed and treated. But there is much more to do.

Your donations fund BHF researchers' tireless work.  Together we will improve the lives of babies born with heart defects, find the genes that cause inherited heart conditions and maybe, one day find a cure for heart failure and heart disease.
