Cycling for The British Heart Foundation!

On Sunday 22nd September, 'Team Maher Ross' Graham, Chris and 'Lofty' cycled the Wight in support of the British Heart Foundation (BHF).  The team were aiming to raise awareness and some cash in support of the charity.

The team set off at 0900 hrs from East Cowes and completed the challenge just after 1430 hrs after having cycled 68 miles.  The weather for the round the island ride was almost perfect - reasonably cool and with no rain.  There were even a few sunny periods during the day!

Chris Maher Said "We have friends and family that have benefitted directly from the education, support and research that the BHF provides - and we've been proud to be able to support it - if only in a small way".

Director Graham Jolliffe added "Coronary Heart Disease is the biggest single killer in the UK - and most people know someone that's suffered from it.  We're really pleased that we might help to raise awareness of the charity and we wanted to show our own personal support".

The team would be delighted if any of our friends, family or customers might like to click through to the charity on their website and find out a little more about how you might be able to help.
