South Coast Conference

On the 6th June, Graham Jolliffe and Chris Maher took part in the South Coast ARLA Propertymark Conference.  The focus this year was squarely on the recent introduction of the Tenant Fee Act, described by ARLA as the most significant piece of legislation to affect residential lettings in the past 10 years.

The day was spent discussing the implications of the act any the many ways in which Landlords and Agents now have to change the way in which they do business.

Chris Maher can be seen discussing some of the Act's implications with the outgoing President, Peter Savage, an exceptionally experienced Residential Lettings Director who has just succesfully completed his second term as ARLA president.

David Cox updated the Maher Ross team on the Finer points of legislation and further briefs were received by James Munro from Trading Standards and Katrine Sporle CBE, the Property Ombudsman.  Please ring Graham or Chris at Maher Ross on 01983 563000 for further information.
